// terms
The ground rules
for using this site.
These terms cover this website and the forge, the free tool that stamps a starter repository. They are written to be read, not to hide behind. If something here is unclear, ask us.

Acceptance
By using creadev.org, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. The site is operated by Creadev.org.
What this site is
This site is the marketing presence of Creadev.org, an engineering shop. It describes what we do and shows our work. It also hosts the forge, a small free tool that generates a starter repository from details you provide.
The site is informational. Nothing on it is a binding offer, a quote, or a contract. A project begins only when we both sign something that says so.
Using the site
You are welcome to read the site, link to it, and use the forge for projects you are entitled to build. In return, do not:
- Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or the forge.
- Use automated tools to abuse the forge, evade its daily limit, or drain the resources that keep it free.
- Submit content through the forge that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use.
- Scrape the site at a volume that degrades it for other visitors.
We may limit or block access, including by IP address, if the site is being abused. That is a safety measure, not a business one.
The forge
The forge is free and provided as a convenience. It stamps a starter repository with a real git history authored by Creadev.org, and hands you the archive. It is offered as is, with no guarantee that the output fits your needs or is free of defects.
The archive you generate is yours. The code and structure you receive from the forge are yours to use, modify, and ship, including commercially, with no license fee and no attribution required. What you build with it is your responsibility.
The forge runs a fair-use daily limit and a one-code-per-generation human check. It is meant for people starting real projects, not for bulk generation.
Intellectual property
The content of this site, including its text, design, and code, belongs to Creadev.org unless stated otherwise. The open-source tools we build are released under their own licenses, which you will find in their repositories.
The archive the forge produces is yours, as described above. The templates, tools, and engine behind it remain ours.
Links to other sites
This site links to our own projects and to a small number of third-party sites. We link to things we believe are useful, but we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their terms, or their privacy practices. Following a link is your choice.
No warranty
This site and the forge are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that the site will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that anything on it is accurate for your particular situation.
We work to keep the site correct and online. We cannot promise it always will be, and you use it at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Creadev.org is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the forge, or from your inability to use them. This includes lost data, lost profits, or business interruption, even if we were told such damage was possible.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site, which for the free parts of the site is nothing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. The current version is always the one on this page.
